Pittsburgh Light Up Night

Light Up Night in Pittsburgh is a beautiful event downtown where many businesses stay open after hours and light up their stores.  This past weekend, November, 21st, I was fortunate enough to attend my first Pittsburgh Light Up Night.

We first visited Mt. Washington.  From the overlook, Faith took some pictures with her new Canon Rebel XT EOS Digital SLR 8.0 Megapixel camera.  The views were amazing and the pictures turned out crisp and clean.  We then visited the library, where they offered us apple cider and cookies due to the event.  Then we visited Station Square, where we parked at the far end (Entrance A) and took more pictures of the city by the river.  Around 8:45, we parked in a parking lot by the river and set up to take pictures of the firstworks.  I’ve never seen someone take pictures of fireworks that actually turned out, so it was pretty cool.

Check out the pics.  The first one is enhanced by me and is desktop wallpaper size and my current wallpaper.
